Silk&Silver Jewelry Personal Data Protection Policy

1. Purpose of the Policy

This policy has been prepared to ensure the processing, storage, transfer, and protection of personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and relevant legislation, within the scope of activities carried out by DPT Yönetim Danışmanlığı Ltd. Şti., operating under the brand Silk&Silver Jewelry.

2. Processed Personal Data, Purposes and Legal Grounds

In the course of product and service-related processes, the following personal data may be requested from our members:

  • Identity Information: Name, surname, date of birth, gender

  • Contact Information: Mobile phone number, email address, residence address

  • Shopping and Transaction Data: Store/location, date/time, amount, product details, campaigns, discounts

  • Marketing and Digital Trace Data: Website and mobile app usage data (clicks, browsing behavior, location data)

Purposes of Processing:

Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • Managing membership transactions

  • Offering discounts, campaigns, and loyalty programs

  • Sending commercial electronic messages (with explicit consent)

  • Conducting statistical analysis and customer support operations

  • Fulfilling legal obligations

These data are processed based on one or more of the legal grounds stated in Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK, including explicit consent, necessity for contract performance, legal obligations, or legitimate interest.

3. Retention Period of Personal Data

Your personal data are retained for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above, and for the retention periods stipulated in applicable legislation.
Under Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, commercial electronic message consent, content, and logs are stored for 5 years from the date the consent expires.
After this period, the data are deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with our data disposal policy.

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared:

  • With domestic service providers (call centers, IT services, SMS/email providers), provided you have given explicit consent

  • With public authorities (e.g., Information and Communication Technologies Authority, courts) when required by law

Your personal data are not transferred abroad. In case international transfer is required, your explicit consent will be obtained beforehand.

5. Rights of the Data Subject

According to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data are processed

  • Request information regarding the processing of your data

  • Learn the purposes of processing and whether data are used in accordance with those purposes

  • Learn the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad

  • Request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data

  • Request the deletion or destruction of personal data

  • Request notification to third parties about the correction or deletion of data

  • Object to a result against you arising from the analysis of your data exclusively through automated systems

  • Request compensation for damages due to unlawful processing

6. Measures for Data Security

Silk&Silver Jewelry applies the following administrative and technical measures to protect your personal data:

  • Confidentiality agreements and KVKK training for employees

In case of any data breach, notifications will be made to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Board) and relevant individuals as required by law.

Silk&Silver Jewelry reserves the right to update this policy.
